In the pits prior to Sunday’s Red Bull Global Rallycross race at Marine Corps Air Station New River, in Jacksonville, North Carolina, driver Tanner Foust hosted both NAPA customers and United States military personnel – a special opportunity made possible by Foust, his sponsor NAPA Chassis, and The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF). On behalf of the NAPA Precision Engineered® Chassis Line exclusively distributed by NAPA AUTO PARTS stores, Foust presented a donation of $5,000 to The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund – to help kickoff NAPA’s annual Get Back and Give Back fundraising campaign supporting the not-for-profit organization.
The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is a leader in supporting the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. Since 2000 the Fund has provided over $150 million in support for the families of military personnel lost in service to our nation, and for severely wounded military personnel and veterans. Through NAPA’s previous “Get Back and Give Back” campaigns, NAPA employees, customers, and suppliers have joined forces to raise more than $3 million dollars to date for the IFHF – including a $1.725 million donation from the 2014 campaign alone.
Campaign proceeds will be added to the IFHF’s goal of raising $100 million to build Intrepid Spirit Centers focused on the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injury and related psychological health conditions suffered by military personnel.
After the check presentation, Tanner Foust spent time talking with attending servicemen and women, as well as customers and staff from several nearby NAPA AUTO PARTS stores – including a new NAPA location (Barnes Motor & Parts Company) set to open inside neighboring Camp Lejeune less than a week after the race.

About Tanner Foust
Tanner Foust is a versatile and multi-talented driver known for his supreme car control and a proven track record of podium placements, national championships and world records. He has represented the USA in the annual Race of Champions three times, teaming with NASCAR star Carl Edwards in 2008, Travis Pastrana in 2009, and Mick Doohan in 2010.
When he isn’t racing, the professional driver also performs in films and on television. He is an on-air host for the U.S. version of the seminal BBC auto show Top Gear, produced by BBC Worldwide Productions and airing on the HISTORY channel. Episodes of his online documentary series, Life in the Foust Lane, are available on the Rockstar Energy Drink YouTube channel.
Foust also handles stunt driving in numerous popular films, TV shows and commercials. He is featured as a stunt driver in the Need 4 Speed film, as well as other major releases including the Bourne Legacy, Bourne Ultimatum, Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift, Dukes of Hazzard, Red Dawn and Iron Man 2 movies.
