Fort Bliss Army hospital to get new ‘Intrepid Spirit Center’ for TBI and PTS
The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund and Fort Bliss’ William Beaumont Army Medical Center broke ground today, 12/1/22, on the newest Intrepid Spirit Center to treat traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress.
The Fort Bliss center is projected to cost $13 million to construct. It will be equipped with the latest in brain technology and treatment facilities and will encompass 25,0000 square feet.
Currently, Intrepid Spirit Centers are located at: Fort Belvoir, VA; Camp Lejeune, NC; Fort Campbell, KY; Fort Hood, TX; Fort Bragg, NC; Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA; Camp Pendleton, CA; Eglin Air Force Base, FL; and Fort Carson, CO.
