Disabled USN Vet Launches You Matter Bike Tour for IFHF in 2014

Ken Carr, a disabled veteran of the U.S. Navy with a Traumatic Brain Injury has taken on a new project in support of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. On April 22, 2014, accompanied by another disabled veteran and good friend, Carr will ride their bicycles 5,000 miles across the country with the goal of generating donations for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund  to complete the construction of nine NICoE Satellite Centers for veterans suffering from Traumatic Brain Injuries and Post Traumatic Stress.

The duo will be paying their own way, relying on sponsors to provide equipment needed for the trip. The trip is being called the You Matter Bike Tour to let other wounded veterans know they matter. Carr plans to set media stops at military hospitals and landmarks along the route and visit other wounded warriors at bases and various centers to meet with other intrepid heroes in person and let them know that this ride is for them.
