BattleSaint™ teams up with the Hamilton family to bring awareness to Post Traumatic Stress

During March, BattleSaint™ teams up with Dan Hamilton’s family to honor him and others suffering from post traumatic stress (PTS). We hope this effort will bring much needed attention to this devastating condition.

The Iraqis called him Hai’dar – it means heart of a lion. To everyone else he was Dan Hamilton with the US Army 5-4 cavalry. He served our country during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2008-2009. On March 22, 2011 while back home, he lost his battle with PTS. The Battle Saint™ project was a big part of Dan’s family. He wore his Battle Saint™ bracelet with pride. This project has always been about love and support so during the month of March, the Battle Saint™ family will honor Dan Hamilton and his family by donating all contributions from every bracelet purchase to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund in Dan’s honor.

Donations to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund have helped build The National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) – an advanced facility dedicated to research, diagnosis and treatment of military personnel and veterans suffering from traumatic brain injury (TBI) and PTS. Please help Dan and his family to make a difference for every soldier and their loved ones.

“I would like to be remembered as a man who had a wonderful time living life, a man who had great friends, fine family; and I don’t think I could ask for anything more than that, actually”. Dan Hamilton 9.17.1987 – 3.22.2011
