Supporters of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund Play for the Chance to Win a Seat in the 2011 World Series of Poker® Tournament
Professional and novice poker players alike come together to participate in New York fundraiser benefiting American troops with the chance to walk away with a seat at the 2011 WSOPSM in Las Vegas.
NEW YORK, NY -- On 14 April, at 6:30PM, Tamsen Fadal of WPIX-TV will host the 2nd Annual Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund Charity Poker Tournament at Hudson Terrace, 621 West 46th Street in New York. The winner of the poker tournament will receive a $10,000 value main event seat in the world’s most prestigious poker tournament, the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Last year’s host, Steven Begleiter – 6th Place finalist in the 2009 WSOP is set to play along with 2008 WPT Champion Jonathan Little, and PokerDivas founder Ellen Leikind. Past attendees include professional poker players Kevin Schaffel, Eric Buchman, Bernard Lee, Dennis Phillips and Victor Ramdin.
A cocktail reception sponsored by The Patron Spirits Company, WineWave, and Manhattan Beer Distributors, followed by dinner, entertainment, and silent and live auctions will take place before the tournament. Proceeds will support the treatment of military personnel suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury at the National Intrepid Center of Excellence, our nation’s foremost facility for addressing TBI, and other efforts supporting wounded service members.

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund helps those who have put their lives in danger for their country.
