In honor of Memorial Day and the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation, local Massachusetts Veterans, from WWII to Afghanistan, will attend a benefit concert – a rockin’ performance of all-original music by island musicians, guitarist and singer/songwriter Jonathan Auerbach and vocalist Carole Charlin, backed by Alejandro Carreño on percussion on Sunday, May 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Martha’s Vineyard Film Center in the Tisbury Marketplace at 79 Beach Road, Vineyard Haven. 

Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund Recieves Donation From Atlanta Law Firm To Help Wounded Military Heroes

 The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund announced it received a donation of $5,000 from Henningsen Injury Attorneys, P.C. in Atlanta, GA, in support of the ongoing #MakeItVisible campaign for the construction of nine NICoE (National Intrepid Center of Excellence) Satellite Centers at military bases around the country, designed to provide new hope for those suffering from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post Traumatic Stress (PTS).

Panama City Beach, FL (May 5, 2011) - DarkReds, a Panama City Beach band, has produced Let’s Say Thank You (To Our Sons and Daughters at War).  Intended as a straight up, direct and formal thank you to members of the Armed Forces from all generations, the band will make a contribution from the proceeds of each sale to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, which supports the recovery and return of our physically and mentally wounded heroes and their families to a regular life.  The band’s goal is a million downloads by year’s end.

CK Mondavi donates nearly $27K to The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund

CK Mondavi Vineyards, owned and produced by C. Mondavi & Family, is proud to announce the success of their first annual, in-store program, supporting The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. During the months of March and April, CK Mondavi donated nearly $27,000 to the IFHF based on consumer redemption of coupons available in-store during the promotion period. Consumers also had the opportunity to donate directly to the fund without purchasing wine.

Bethesda, MD (June 24, 2010) – The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF), the National Naval Medical Center and 5,000 wounded warriors and their families helped to officially dedicate the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE), a 72,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art research, diagnosis and treatment center for service members with diagnosed Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Psychological Health Conditions, in a ceremony that included a ribbon-cutting and military flyover here today.
