IFHF's Inaugural Giving Day

Posted: 11/16/2015 4:12:37 PM

Mark your calendars, everyone. On December 1 this year, we will be having our first-ever Giving Day!

It’s our goal to continue to build centers to help service members who suffer from traumatic brain injury and psychological health conditions. Without your help, we wouldn’t have been able to accomplish construction of these centers which have already begun to change countless lives. Even the smallest donations make an impact in helping us reach our goals.

Since all the administrative costs of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund are underwritten by our Board of Trustees, 100% of your donation goes to support building new Intrepid Spirit centers. Once a center is completed,  the base on which the center was built will take over for operation and programming. From that point forward, the Department of Defense pays the costs for operating the center, including staffing, equipment, and maintenance.

When you donate, you are helping service members recover from their injuries and get back to living their lives. You are helping families work through the treatment process as a support group. You are helping give back to those who have given so much for our country and our freedom.

This Giving Tuesday, consider making a donation to support our country’s heroes. Donate in honor of a loved one who serves or has served. Donate in honor of a neighbor, friend, or teacher who has served. Donate in honor of the nation’s many brave service members. We are grateful for every dollar we receive. If you have donated in the past, we thank you and hope you will consider donating again on our inaugural Giving Day!

RSVP to our event on Facebook and share this blog post with friends and family to spread the word. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #Give2Heroes every time you share!

Thank you to everyone who has supported IFHF! We can’t wait to see how much we raise for our service members this Giving Day.
