Everyone has a story. Every action has an inspiration. Making a monetary donation is no different. IFHF posed the question to our donors: "Why do you give to IFHF?" We wanted to hear the stories behind making a donation to IFHF. If you’re considering giving to IFHF, read these personal motivations behind why others have chosen to give to help our nation’s heroes.

My donation goes to IFHF to help our fallen heroes. I [donate because IFHF
builds facilities] that have the equipment to examine the brains of soldiers
who have [traumatic brain injury]. I feel these facilities are needed to help
our soldiers understand why they feel the way they do with brain injuries.

- Connie D.

My monthly donation goes to help those who sacrificed themselves. I just
wanted to do something for our heroes, as little as it is.

- Mary M.

There is not enough that we can do for our veterans and those now serving in
the military. It is nothing compared what they have given me.

- Terri C.

We give every month. It's the very least that we can do for our military service
membersin return for their dedication and sacrifices. We feel that our
society needs to stand squarelybehind the people who protect us.

- Laure S.

My husband and I donated in memory of my daughter-in-law’s birthday. She
lost herdad - a valiant military veteran - and we wanted her to know we understand
the importance of a father and the pain of her loss.

- Judith S.

I have had a recurring contribution for several years. [Our service members]
went for me, and they may never be the same as they were when they set
out on their journey.

- Nancy K.

Giving Tuesday provides an opportunity to give back and support worthwhile charities around the world. As you consider charities you’ll give to on that day and throughout the year, think about how your donation will be used at IFHF. You can donate to the IFHF Giving Day campaign here.

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is committed to serving the men and women of the military who suffer from traumatic brain injury (TBI) and psychological health (PH) conditions. By building treatment facilities called Intrepid Spirit centers on military bases across the country, IFHF directly impacts the lives of these military personnel.
