TeamExtreme, a group of amateur and professional athletes who participate in extreme physical challenges around the country to raise funds and awareness for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF), today announced the sponsors for the 2nd annual Relay for Heroes race which will take place from September 9-10 in Manhattan. TeamExtreme raised over $250,000 for the 2017 Relay for Heroes and more than $2.3 million for the IFHF since 2014.

Silverstein Properties joins Fisher Brothers and the Avenue of the Americas Association as an “Extreme Sponsor” for the Relay for Heroes, a 24-hour-long relay race that will take place from September 9-10 along the west side of Manhattan. IFHF Breaks Ground on New Intrepid Spirit center at Camp Pendleton, CA

The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF), representatives from Camp Pendleton, and the Naval Hospital at Camp Pendleton today broke ground on a new Intrepid Spirit center that will diagnose and treat Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and psychological health conditions in service members at Camp Pendleton, California. The facility will be the seventh in a series of nine centers located at military bases around the country built by the IFHF, a not-for-profit organization and national leader supporting the men and women of the United States Armed Forces and their families. Intrepid Spirit centers currently are operational at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Fort Hood, TX, and Fort Bragg, NC, and another currently is being constructed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.

IFHF Trustee Winston Fisher Completes World Marathon Challenge

From January 23 through January 29, 2017 IFHF Board Member and founding member of TeamExtreme, Winston Fisher, took part in the World Marathon Challenge which consists of running 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days.
