CK Mondavi Vineyards partners with the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund
St. Helena, California, February 2, 2012
– CK Mondavi Vineyards, a leading American family-owned producer of top quality wines is proud to announce its support of The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. In the months of March and April, CK Mondavi will support an in-store program designed to bring attention to this noble organization and their worthy cause. A donation based on performance during these two months will be made to the Fund with additional messaging for consumers encouraging them to make a direct donation to the organization.
“At CK Mondavi, not only is wine important to us, but so is our family and our country.” says Marc Mondavi, co-proprietor of CK Mondavi Vineyards. “Supporting these heroes helps repay the debt that all Americans owe them for the sacrifices they have made in service to our nation. Funded entirely by public donations, IFHF serves U.S. military personnel wounded or injured in service to our nation and their families, and is a national leader in meeting this important mission. We hope everyone will join us in our support of this very important organization.”

About CK Mondavi Vineyards:
Established in the 1940s by Italian immigrants Cesare and Rosa Mondavi, their story is an American success story – a strong, family-owned business which has thrived for generations to produce fine wines that grace family tables across America. Built on a foundation of family values, hard work and European winemaking traditions, the winery offers a portfolio of wines appropriate for special occasions or everyday family gatherings. Day to day operations are handled by Marc Mondavi and his brother Peter Mondavi Jr., both sons of legendary Napa Valley wine icon Peter Mondavi Sr.- who still comes to work every day at the spry age of 97. The family is now proudly welcoming members of the fourth generation to the business, continuing a legacy started almost 70 years ago and setting a foundation for generations to come.
