President's Message
Thank you for visiting our website and your shared commitment to the men and women of the armed services and their families. The support our nation has shown for our servicemembers in the form of hundreds of thousands of donors to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund is truly awe-inspiring.

Though more funds are still needed for state-of-the-art equipment and research, the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE) is on track to open in mid-2010 because of the generous contributions made by supporters from around the country. We are truly grateful that so many donors share our dedication to make this resource available as soon as possible to the brave men and women who continue to sacrifice for our nation and our freedom. Please consider making a donation to help bring us over the finish line and open the doors of NICoE to help them begin their road to recovery.

It is truly an honor to be a part of something so critically important as the projects of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. Through 2005, the Fund provided close to $20 million to families of United States military personnel lost in performance of their duty, mostly in service in Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2007, the Fund completed construction of the Center for the Intrepid, a $55 million world-class state-of-the-art physical rehabilitation center at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas which serves military personnel who have been catastrophically disabled. Now, we are addressing another critical issue faced by our wounded troops: the treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury through the NICoE project.

Thank you once again for your support.
